Submit a sample of your writing, talk about your writing project, get some feedback from Helen Knott Advance registration required
The Indigenous Book Club is a co-production of Whitehorse Public Library and the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre. This free program invites Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants to read works by Indigenous authors and then come together to discuss themes and ideas.
We are pleased to offer several engagements with Helen Knott, author of Becoming A Matriarch, the bestselling follow-up to the award-winning, bestselling debut, In My Own Moccasins.
On October 4 from 1-4pm, Helen will be at KDCC/Whitehorse Public Library for Individual Mentoring Appointments with aspiring Yukon writers.
There are a limited number of (up to) 30 minute appointment spots to talk about your writing project and get some feedback from an award-winning published author.
If you would like a spot, please email [email protected] with:
* a sample of your writing
* a few sentences about why you would like to have this time with the author
