Join our Yukon Palaeontologist for tales of Woolly Mammoths and other Ice Age animals

Welcome to our first Special Guest Story Time, when we invite a talented member of our community with a special skill or talent or knowledge base to take over story time and share!

Dr. Grant Zazula has been conducting research, managing fossil collections, and delivering educational outreach programs with the Government of Yukon as the Territorial Palaeontologist since 2006, and he'll be sharing tales of Ice Age animals and Beringia (and some fossils too).  This is a free event for kids and their families to enjoy, and is a part of Culture Days 2025.
