Friends of the Whitehorse Library (FOWL)
Friends of the Whitehorse Library (FOWL) is a charitable organization. They support and enhance services at the Whitehorse Public Library through fundraising activities and events.
The group meets annually to discuss ways to improve supports at the library.

Whitehorse Public Library Board
The Whitehorse Public Library (WPL) Board advocates and raises awareness for services and programs at the Whitehorse Public Library.
The Board meets 5 times a year to advise the director of public libraries on collections, programs and library policy.
- Authority: Public Libraries Act, section 3(1)
The Board consists of 7 members who are community members and leaders. There is no legislated criteria required to join.
