Circus Play Zone: Explore juggling and floor apparatus
Ages 5 - 8 (child must be in this age range)
Participants will be introduced to a variety of circus floor equipment including juggling balls, hula hoops, silk fans, spinning plates and more. You will learn a few basic tricks with each apparatus and enjoy group activities and games with the equipment. Since circus is a performance art, participants will be encouraged create a short routine and demonstrate what they have learned with the group.
Participants can wear clothing that is cool and comfortable to move and indoor shoes or sock feet. Bring a water bottle. No circus experience necessary.
Facilitated by Alix Todd, a trained circus artist with over a decade of experience teaching and performing circus arts.
Free registration required at yukonlibraries.ca/events. Ages 5 - 8. Space limited (10 spaces available).
Light snack provided. Whitehorse Public Library cannot accommodate food allergies.
