Drop in for a relaxed evening of chess at Whitehorse Public Library! Join us Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm for friendly matches, learning opportunities, and a fun, casual atmosphere.
Join us Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 pm at Whitehorse Public Library for our casual, drop-in Chess Club. Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to the game, this is a welcoming space to learn, practice, and enjoy chess with others in the community.
We provide chess sets and a comfortable, low-pressure environment where you can play friendly matches, share tips, or simply watch and learn. There’s no registration required—just drop in whenever you like. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and bringing your own chess board is encouraged.
Come connect with fellow chess enthusiasts, sharpen your skills, and unwind with a classic game!
