Michael McMullen will be launching his new book, Leaving Lisa, at Whitehorse Public Library on Friday, September 5 from 4pm ? 6pm.

Michael McMullen, author of Scarred (2019) and Garbage Boy (2024), will be launching his new book, Leaving Lisa, at Whitehorse Public Library on Friday, September 5 from 4pm – 6pm.

The author says that “'Leaving Lisa' is my third book of fiction and is classified as a romantic comedy. The book was constructed from one sentence I overheard in a diner, some 20 years ago.”

An album based on lyrics from the book can be found on streaming services including YouTube and Spotify.
