Optional potluck for public 5:30 – 6:30 pm (registration is not necessary for the potluck hour). Please bring something to share.
Author's books will be on sale at this event (thanks to Mac's Fireweed Books).
Bio: Yukon Public Libraries guest author Duncan McKenzie has a special interest in odd and funny events from the real world. He has written two books of quirky true-crime stories for HarperCollins: The World's Even Dumber Criminals, The World's Wildest Cons, and a book of true-life stories about strange inventions, What Could Possibly Go Wrong (available at Yukon Public Libraries).
McKenzie has worked as a writer and producer of TV comedy shows, including such award-winning series as History Bites, Baroness Von Sketch Show, and the youth sketch comedy series That's So Weird. He was showrunner for the comedy-drama series Train 48. He lives in Oakville, Ontario, where he is active in improv comedy and was one of the founders of the Oakville Improv Theatre Company.
