Join Marianna La Haye-Picard aka Orbitaa and dive into the world of Flow Arts.
Ages 9 to 12 (child must be in this age range).
Flow arts includes a variety of movement-based activities including dance, juggling and object manipulation. During this workshop, you will learn the basics of hula-hoop dance and silk fan flow. Come along and enjoy a delicate blend of circus techniques and dance therapy that will make you smile, break a little sweat and have fun! We will start with focus exercises and a short warm up. We'll play music that will nourish your imagination! No experience necessary just an interest in movement and creativity.
Hula-hoop: Learn a minimum of 5 beginner off body tricks that will surely seem like magic.
Silk fans: Learn a wide variety of movement, express yourself freely and be in the moment.
Participants can wear clothing that is cool and comfortable to move and indoor shoes or sock feet. Bring a water bottle. No circus experience necessary.
